The "Night of Theaters" campaign will be held in Moscow at the end of March.

The annual action "Night of Theaters" will be held in Moscow from March 27 to 28. It will unite 90 institutions. Performances, open rehearsals, creative meetings, lectures, excursions, concerts and much more await visitors, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"Almost 120 events have been prepared for fans of theatrical art. Most of the program will be dedicated to the anniversaries of artists, playwrights, directors, composers, writers and cultural venues themselves," she said.

The action will be officially opened at the Moscow Drama Theater named after N.V. Gogol, which will turn 100 in April. Famous artists will read poems by Alexander Blok and Sergei Yesenin, and the Bolshoi Theater staff will show an excerpt from the ballet Swan Lake. An immersive tour will also take place here: the staff will tell about the work of the institution during the Great Patriotic War.

In addition, the Moscow State Academic Operetta Theater offers a walk behind the scenes, a look into the rehearsal rooms and dressing rooms.

A meeting with People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Babkina, dedicated to her 75th birthday, will take place at the Russian Song Theater. And the Helikon Opera is organizing a gala concert dedicated to the 185th anniversary of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's birth. Such works of the composer as "Ondine", "Snow Maiden", "Mandragora" and others will be performed from the stage.
