The Investigative Committee has launched an investigation into the death of a worker at an oil field in the Kama region.

An investigation into the death of a driller's assistant at an oil field has been organized in the Perm Region. The SU IC of Russia for the region reports this in its Telegram channel.

The tragedy occurred on the morning of March 7 at a well located in the Oktyabrsky municipal district. As a result of the fall of the tubing, a 24-year-old assistant driller of the well overhaul suffered a head injury, the State Labor Inspectorate notes. The young man died on the spot.

The Investigative Committee launched an investigation into the incident. Eyewitnesses are being interviewed, and necessary measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the death. Based on the results of the inspection, a decision will be made to institute a criminal case.
