The doctor listed the most allergenic flowers

Allergenic flowers are fragrant, have a bright smell, and therefore pollen. Allergist, immunologist, therapist Lyudmila Lapa told about this on Friday, March 7, on the eve of International Women's Day.
"If the flowers smell strongly, then, of course, they can cause allergies. The most dangerous ones are lilies. They can't even be left in the sleeping room. Lilac and jasmine are also fragrant flowers, allergenic. And there's a lot of pollen in them," the expert explained in an interview with Radio 1.
According to the expert, the safest flowers are tulips.
"They can be given away every day. Breathe them, leave them in the room. Daisies don't smell much either, but if a person is allergic to pollen, it will be dangerous," the allergist concluded.
Earlier that day, Izvestia got acquainted with the data of analysts of the 5X Group Package service, according to which more than 80% of Russians surveyed consider flowers to be a mandatory attribute on March 8. Thus, 95% of the men surveyed plan to congratulate women on the holiday, while 32% of them noted that they would congratulate all the girls they would contact on that day.
The day before, the Ministry of Agriculture announced that the Russian market was fully supplied with flowers, NSN reports.
The ministry recalled that according to Rosstat data, 393.5 million cut flowers and buds were produced in the organized sector in 2023. According to the results of last year, the production of floriculture products is expected to exceed these figures by 3-5%, IA Regnum reports.
