Experts gave advice on the proper allocation of the budget

There are many marketing traps that occur at every turn, which lead to unnecessary purchases. The founders of the marketing agency Ekaterina Shabalkina and Anna Stromelyuk, in an interview with Izvestia on March 8, shared tips on how to avoid unnecessary expenses and save money for more important purposes.
According to experts, the first step to saving money is drawing up a detailed spending plan. It is necessary to record all income and expenses, dividing them into mandatory (rent, utilities, groceries) and optional (entertainment, spontaneous purchases). This approach allows you to visually see where the money is going and determine where you can reduce spending.
For the convenience of accounting, you can use special budget planning applications. They help you track your expenses and find savings opportunities.
Experts advise you to think about what is really important: for example, a vacation or a new device. This helps you avoid making rash purchases and focus on what brings long-term satisfaction.
To avoid impulsive spending, it is recommended to apply the "24 hours" rule: before buying an optional item, you should wait a day. During this time, the desire may disappear, and the decision will be more balanced.
It's also important to plan purchases in advance, make lists, and avoid going to the store on an empty stomach. Using promotions, sales, and coupons also contributes to savings.
Experts remind that even small changes in daily habits, such as turning off lights or using energy-saving lamps, can significantly reduce utility costs.
As for entertainment, instead of expensive events, you can choose free or inexpensive alternatives.: visiting museums, parks, or outdoor concerts, Shabalkina and Stromeliuk said.
In addition, it's worth checking the subscriptions and services you pay for regularly. Perhaps some of them are no longer in use or they can be replaced with more profitable options.
Experts advise saving a small amount each month for unforeseen expenses. This will create a financial safety cushion and protect you from unexpected difficulties.
"Saving is not about giving up the joys of life, but about conscious financial management. Implementing these simple rules in everyday life will help strengthen the budget and achieve long-term financial goals. Start today, and you will notice how your finances will become more stable and manageable," the experts concluded.
