A base of reliable migrants will appear in Stavropol

A single database of reliable migrants will be created in Stavropol. This instruction was given by the mayor of the city, Ivan Ulyanchenko, at a meeting of the anti-terrorist commission, the press service of the administration reported on Friday, March 7.

The instructions are based on a comprehensive plan to counter the ideology of terrorism in the Russian Federation for 2024-2028. The mayor's office, in particular, called for increased control over the recruitment of foreigners and for a prompt response to people who are illegally in the region.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, the city is currently taking preventive measures against migrant workers employed in the construction sector.

Earlier in March, Izvestia wrote that citizens of the CIS, China, Estonia and Abkhazia began to purchase real estate in Russia more often. Such transactions now account for 20% of the total number of apartment sales.
