The Russian accused of fraud was deported from Turkey to Russia


A Russian man accused of large-scale fraud has been deported to Russia from Turkey. This was announced on March 7 by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
It is clarified that from 2016 to 2017, in the Primorsky Territory, this attacker, actually controlling the activities of a number of commercial organizations, organized the forgery and submission of false documents to the Office of the Federal Treasury for the Khabarovsk Territory. As a result of his actions, over 53 million rubles were stolen.
A criminal case was opened on this fact in February 2019. After that, the man disappeared outside of Russia and was put on the international wanted list.
"Thanks to close cooperation with Turkish law enforcement agencies, the transfer of the detainee to the Russian side was agreed through Interpol channels," Irina Volk, an official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, is quoted as saying on the agency's website.
On March 2, Interpol officers deported from Egypt to Russia a wanted Russian man who was accused of kidnapping and extortion. The attacker, together with an accomplice, abducted the director of one of the commercial organizations at gunpoint. They demanded a ransom for his release. As a result, the kidnappers received more than 30 million rubles, they released the businessman and fled.
