An army aviation crew on a Mi-35M helicopter destroyed manpower and a stronghold of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of the Kursk region. The relevant footage was shown on March 7 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

During the combat mission to support the units of the North group, army aviation pilots launched missiles at the coordinates of an aviation gunner and destroyed a stronghold and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that after the strike, the crews performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps that prevent enemy MANPADS from hitting missiles.

"An advanced aviation gunner confirmed the destruction of manpower and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the ministry said in a statement.
