A high-alert regime has been introduced in the Rostov region due to the threat of an emergency. This was announced on March 7 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.
"I have signed an order to introduce a high—alert regime in the Rostov region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The relevant document has been published on the legal information portal of the Rostov region.
"Due to the threat of an emergency caused by explosions (including subsequent burning and (or) destruction (collapse) in buildings and structures) <...>, a high—alert regime should be introduced in the Rostov Region from March 6, 2025, until further notice," the order says. Gorenje
Slyusar also stressed that in order to receive up-to-date information, residents are advised to install the Russian Emergencies Ministry application, which will send push notifications with recommendations on actions in various situations.
On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the air defense forces had intercepted 39 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia. It is specified that 14 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, 12 more over the Black Sea, seven drones over the territory of the Kursk region, three UAVs over the Sea of Azov and one each over the territories of the Rostov, Belgorod and Oryol regions.
