Trump declared his readiness to conclude a deal with Iran on the nuclear program

The United States would prefer to make a deal with Iran on its nuclear programs. This was announced on March 7 by the American President Donald Trump.
According to him, he sent a letter to the leadership of the Islamic Republic.
"I said that I hope that you will go to negotiations, because it will be much better for Iran," the Reuters news agency quoted him as saying.
Trump stressed that the United States must do something because it cannot allow the emergence of another "nuclear weapon."
In February, US President Donald Trump signed a memorandum on national security, which, according to him, exerts "maximum pressure" on Iran's nuclear program. He noted that Washington cannot allow Tehran to have nuclear weapons and create them.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araghchi, called Trump's fears about the production of nuclear weapons in vain, since the country is committed to the treaty on its non-proliferation (NPT) and the religious ban (fatwa) on this activity in Iran.
