The new car brand Nordcross will appear in Russia in the summer
A new car brand, Nordcross, will be launched in Russia in June 2025. The first model of the brand will be the Lynk & Co 09 full-size crossover from Geely, which will be sold under the name Nordcross 001. This was reported on March 7 by the Chinese Cars portal.
In September last year, the Nordcross trademark was registered by the distributor of the Belgee and Knewstar brands in Russia, Slava Motors Rus. In March 2025, she received Vehicle Type Approval (OTT) for the Nordcross car, codenamed C21, which is a hybrid seven-seater Lynk & Co 09.
The Lynk & Co 09 measures 5042×1977×1780 mm with a wheelbase of 2984 mm. It is equipped with a two-liter engine with a capacity of 254 hp (350 Nm), which works with a 48-volt belt starter generator and an 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive.
Cars of the Chinese brand Lynk & Co began in Russia in December last year. Two models have entered the market — the 08 hybrid crossover and the Z10 electric sedan. The Avtodom dealer holding took over the sale of Lynk & Co cars. The car sales announcement took place in parallel with the presentation of Meizu brand gadgets.
On February 14, it became known that the Chinese car brand Lynk & Co became a subsidiary of Zeekr. As a result of the integration, the Zeekr Technology group was formed.
Prior to that, on February 5, it was reported that the new logo of the NordCross automobile brand appeared in the Rospatent database. The NordCross logo is made in the same style as Geely and Belgee, but in black, not blue.
