Sobyanin awarded outstanding Muscovites on the eve of March 8

On the eve of March 8, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin presented state and city awards to outstanding residents of the capital. Among the awardees are teachers, doctors, journalists, volunteers, social workers, cultural and sports figures. As the mayor noted in his Telegram channel, each of them "makes our city a better place - with their talent, hard work, and caring for people."

In particular, the title "Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation" was awarded to Anna Komarova, Deputy Chief Physician for the medical Department of the Botkin Moscow National Cancer Center. Marina Evseeva, a teacher of history and social studies at School No. 1862, became an "Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation."

The Mayor of Moscow also conveyed the gratitude of the President of Russia to Natalia Kaluzhenskaya, a volunteer, and Natalia Prisetskaya, President of the Katyusha Society for the Support of Parents with Disabilities and Their Families. VGIK Professor Yulia Menshova was awarded the title of "Honorary Artist of the City of Moscow."

The insignia "For Impeccable Service to the City of Moscow" were awarded to Marina Neyolova, an artist of the Sovremennik Theater, Natalia Kuzina, a master of the sewing workshop of the Moscow Operetta Theater, and Lidiya Mitrofanova, deputy head of the Cheryomushki Factory.

Coaches and teachers Yulia Kustova and Elena Tchaikovsky were awarded the city title of "Honorary Worker of Physical Culture and Sports." Nadezhda Burlina, a specialist in social rehabilitation at the Lyublino social home, and Tatiana Morozova, a senior nurse at the Yugo-Zapadny Gerontological Center, were awarded the title of Honorary Worker of Social Protection of the Population of Moscow.

Sobyanin thanked all the awardees for their "hard work, warmth and dedication to their beloved city," calling their contribution to the development of Moscow invaluable.
