Ukrainian media reported on the seizure of the UOC temple in Komarovtsy

Representatives of the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) seized the temple of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in the village of Komarovtsy, Chernivtsi region. This was reported on March 6 in the Telegram channel "Orthobuk – Orthodox community of the UOC."

"The Holy Dormition Church in the village of Komarovtsy was seized... The Fathers of the OCU faith, together with representatives of the National Police, took over the temple," the message says.

They noted that supporters of the OCU took advantage of the fact that the dean of Storozhynets district was hospitalized.

Earlier, on February 21, it was reported that in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the Ukrainian equivalent of military enlistment offices) abducted a priest of the Ovruchsko-Korostenskaya diocese of the UOC Pavel Kushnirchuk.
