The participants of the European Union (EU) summit did not give an answer to the question of providing support to Ukraine against the background of the suspension of US military assistance and the provision of intelligence to the country. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on March 7.

According to the newspaper, the question was asked by Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal, but the answer was deathly silence from those present.

At the same time, the authors of the article clarified that the termination of military assistance leaves a "gaping hole" in the ability of the allies to support Ukraine.

On March 4, Reuters reported that the White House officially confirmed the suspension of US military assistance to Ukraine. The pause will last until Trump sees how the leaders of the Ukrainian side "demonstrate a good-faith commitment to peace."

On March 5, Fox News journalist Jackie Heinrick reported that John Ratcliffe, director of the Central Intelligence Agency, confirmed Washington's decision to suspend cooperation with Kiev on intelligence transfer for some time.
