Russians' confidence rating in Putin has reached 81%

81% of Russians trust Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was confirmed on March 7 by data from the Public Opinion Foundation (POM).

At the same time, 82% of Russian citizens are satisfied with the work of the head of state. In addition, 57% of the respondents positively assessed the work of the Russian government.

The study was conducted in late February and early March, and 1.5 thousand respondents took part in the survey.

"No one can demand anything here, especially not from Russia."

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on January 17 that Putin enjoys enormous popular support. He added that the survey results have an impact on the success of the special military operation. The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation called it an important factor "for inspiring citizens."
