Rabies quarantine introduced in Tyumen region

In the Tyumen region, a rabies outbreak was discovered in the village of Sitnikovo, Omutinsky district. There is a quarantine there. The corresponding decree was signed by the regional government.
Since March 6, fairs, the export of animals susceptible to rabies, and the capture of game for zoos have been prohibited in the village.
According to the <url> news agency, the infection was found in the remains of a wolf.
Earlier, on March 4, quarantine was announced in another Tyumen village, Soloboevo. The decision was made after the discovery of a fox corpse in the village and rabies tests.
