In Krasnoarmeysk, Moscow region, six schoolchildren were hospitalized as a result of poisoning with crab-flavored soy meat, which gained popularity on TikTok. This was announced on March 7 by a source of Izvestia.

He clarified that one of the students bought the product and brought it to school. At the same time, there was no label in Russian on the packaging of soy meat. The children were taken to hospitals with signs of poisoning after they tried it.

According to the source, all the children had a reaction to the pungent, peppery smell of meat. It is also noted that the teacher, who was in the classroom at the time, had an allergic reaction.

On March 7, the press service of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Amur Region announced the closure of the Druzhba Chinese cuisine in Blagoveshchensk after the poisoning of five customers. The victims were diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection. During the inspection, it was possible to find more than 2 tons of raw materials and semi-finished products of unknown origin, which were disposed of according to the department's instructions.
