A man armed with a knife attacked an employee of the Alma Ata International Airport, after which he was detained. This was announced on March 7 by the press service of the air harbor.

It is specified that the incident occurred at 11:45 (09:45 Moscow time) in the terminal of domestic flights (T1) to the screening area. The attacker, posing as a passenger, attacked an employee of the airport when asked to show documents and began to hold her by the hair, threatening her with a knife. Seven minutes later, the man was disarmed and detained.
