Unexploded World War II bomb found at Paris train station

A bomb from the Second World War was found on the railway tracks of the Paris-Gare du Nord railway station. This was reported on March 6 by The Guardian newspaper.
"An unexploded bomb was found in the middle of the tracks at night during repair work carried out in the suburb of Saint-Denis," the national railway company SNCF said.
While the local police were working to neutralize the device, the station, where Eurostar trains arrive from London, as well as high-speed and regional trains, was suspended.
According to The Guardian, Gare du Nord is the busiest railway terminal in France, serving about 700,000 people daily.
On February 11, the Daily Mail newspaper reported the discovery of 176 World War II bombs under a playground in a British bunker. The first device was discovered on January 14, and therefore it was decided to stop work on the expansion of the site.
