A driver and seven passengers were injured in a bus and truck accident in Kalmykia.

A bus and a truck collided in Kalmykia, injuring the driver and seven passengers. This was announced on March 7 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.

It is specified that the accident occurred on the 305th km of the highway R-216 "Astrakhan — Elista — Stavropol". Details of the incident are unknown.

"As a result of the collision, the driver and seven passengers of the bus were taken to a medical facility," the Telegram channel said.

At the moment, a police investigative team is working at the scene of the accident, all the circumstances and causes of the incident are being established.

On March 5, more than 20 cars collided on the M-5 Ural highway near the village of Kholodny Klyuchi in the Orenburg region. It was clarified that two people were injured in a massive road accident.
