Law enforcement agencies have detained Natella Biryukova, deputy head of the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Krasnodar Territory Administration, in a case of abuse of authority. This was announced on March 7 by a source of Izvestia.

It is specified that she is suspected of abuse of official authority in fraud with land plots belonging to cultural heritage sites.

Biryukova is currently being taken to the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SU IC RF) in the Krasnodar Territory. The investigators also conducted a search in the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the regional administration.

On January 31, three top managers of Rusnano were detained in a case of abuse of authority. In order to conceal the unsuccessful results of the company's economic activities, they took measures to reclassify financial liabilities. As a result, they provided inaccurate information about the allegedly satisfactory financial situation of the company. As a result, the state had to allocate over 43 billion rubles to the corporation in 2022-2024. A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abuse of official authority").
