The results of the II Forum "Women for a Healthy Society" have been summed up

On March 4-5, the II forum "Women for a Healthy Society" and expert discussions of the Healthy Society project took place in Moscow. Representatives of 12 countries took part in the events, including the UAE, South Africa, the USA, England, Switzerland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belarus, Uzbekistan and others. The total number of guests and participants is over 1,100 people. 120 media representatives worked at the site.

"Building a healthy society, a health–saving environment, and changing the culture of attitudes towards one's own health is a wide range of tasks that unites the state, society, representatives of science, and non-profit organizations. The Women for a Healthy Society Forum is one of the most striking examples of such cooperation. The site presents the best, successful health—saving practices implemented by a strong expert community of caring women," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.

The second forum "Women for a Healthy Society" was organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation together with the Roscongress Foundation. The Forum was held under the auspices of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum under the Federation Council. The event was supported by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and the FMBA of Russia.

The plenary session of the Forum was led by the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, before the start of the discussion, the Speaker of the Federation Council voiced the greetings of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the participants of the forum.

On the second day of the event, on March 5, 2025, expert discussions of the Healthy Society project took place. Experts discussed issues of drug safety, modern technologies in the medicine of the future, socially significant diseases as a challenge to the health of the nation, the availability of food innovations, the development of donation and other topics.

A separate session was devoted to strategies for the success of the social projects of the winners of the All-Russian competition "Women for a Healthy Society".

The Women for a Healthy Society project was established in 2021 to support the national policy of strengthening public health and the professional association of women leaders engaged in the social sphere who share the goals and principles of health conservation from various regions of Russia and other countries. The mission of the project is to create and develop a community of women whose professional activities are aimed at strengthening public health, preserving the population and improving people's well-being. In accordance with the action plan for the implementation of the National Strategy of Action for Women for 2023-2030, the All-Russian competitive selection of the best social projects "Women for a Healthy Society" is held annually within the framework of the project. During the session, the winners and finalists of the past competitive selections presented the results and prospects for the development of their initiatives.

"Social projects implemented by members of the Women for a Healthy Society community cover a wide range of issues from protecting motherhood and childhood to developing digital solutions for health. It is encouraging to see how initiatives that were just beginning a few years ago have grown. The strength of our community is help and support, the participants support each other's projects and grow together, scaling the experience of one region per country. The IV All-Russian competitive selection is already taking place on the official website of the project, this year it is being held in 4 main nominations and 5 special nominations. You can apply until April 13, 2025," said Anastasia Stolkova, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation's Commission on Healthcare and First Deputy Director for Development at the Roscongress Foundation.

The final of the All-Russian competitive selection of scientific projects "Technologies for human Health" was also held on the sidelines of the event. The main objective of the Competition is the comprehensive support of research teams creating innovative biotechnologies to promote human health. Young scientists, research teams, employees of scientific organizations and universities, as well as employees of organizations engaged in research and development were invited to participate in the Competition. More than 50 regions of Russia and 143 research teams took part in the Competition. The examination was conducted by the Russian Academy of Sciences and leading organizations of practical healthcare. The 18 best works reached the final. During the session, research teams will present their technologies and compete for the right to become the best.
