Chinese cafe closed after poisoning of five people in Blagoveshchensk

Druzhba Chinese cuisine cafe in Blagoveshchensk has closed after five customers were poisoned. This was announced on March 7 by the press service of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Amur region.
It is specified that the victims were diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection.
"Gross violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation have been established," the agency's Telegram channel says.
According to the management, the institution has not provided documents confirming the quality and safety of its products. Also, the food was not labeled, and washing of dishes and kitchen equipment was carried out without the use of disinfectants. In addition, the cafe employees do not have personal medical books.
During the inspection, more than 2 tons of raw materials and semi-finished products of unknown origin were found, which were disposed of according to the order of the department.
On February 12, Rospotrebnadzor banned the operation of the restaurant "The Bull" on 2nd Brestskaya Street in Moscow for 60 days after a visitor claimed poisoning. Specialists checked the facility and found gross violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements. So, the products in the establishment were stored in the wrong conditions: for example, the pre-cut ingredients for the dishes were not kept in the refrigerator. There was no information about the manufacturer, expiration dates, or storage conditions on the products.
