MADI will strengthen parking control on four streets of Moscow

Inspectors of the Moscow Administrative Road Inspectorate (MADI) will strengthen control on four streets of the capital from March 10. The Metropolitan Department of Transport announced this in its Telegram channel on March 7.
Control will be strengthened on Aviakonstruktor Petlyakov Street, Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, Zeleny Prospekt and Basovskaya Street. The Department of Transport emphasized that drivers systematically violate parking rules, as well as leave cars under forbidding signs and on sidewalks.
As Maxim Liksutov, Moscow's Deputy mayor for Transport, noted, strengthening control on these city streets will increase their capacity and reduce the number of emergencies.
Since February 10, MADI inspectors have strengthened control over compliance with the rules of stopping and parking on five streets in the capital: on 3rd Magistralnaya, Pilot Oskanov, Malaya Bronnaya, Sheremetyevskaya and Perervensky Boulevard.
At the end of last year, the Metropolitan Department of Transport announced that since the beginning of 2024, MADI inspectors have increased patrols on 42 streets with heavy traffic. According to Maxim Liksutov, Moscow's deputy mayor for Transport, thanks to such measures, the number of parking violations there has decreased by an average of 70%.
On March 3, Deptrans reported that last winter, tow trucks from the Moscow Parking lot moved almost 10,000 premium-class cars to special parking lots.
