The governor of the Orel region reported no casualties after the UAV attack.

As a result of the repulse of the attempted attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Orel region, no one was injured. This was announced on March 7 by the governor of the region Andrey Klychkov.

"One enemy UAV was intercepted and destroyed in the sky over the Orel region tonight," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Klychkov added that no damage had been recorded as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack, and operational checks were being carried out at the scene.

The Governor also expressed gratitude to the air defense units for their work.

On the night of February 26, 128 Ukrainian UAVs were launched across the regions of Russia.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the air defense forces had intercepted 39 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia. It is specified that 14 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, 12 more over the Black Sea, seven drones over the territory of the Kursk region, three UAVs over the Sea of Azov and one each over the territories of the Rostov, Belgorod and Oryol regions.
