Sobyanin spoke about the visual concept of the Zvenigorodskaya metro station

The Zvenigorodskaya station under construction on the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line of the Moscow Metro will be made in monochrome colors. This was announced on March 7 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
"The main part of the platform will be light, and the track walls will be dark," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
He added that there will be white columns in the center of the station, smoothly turning into arches above the train waiting area.
Currently, Zvenigorodskaya is 33% ready, the mayor of Moscow noted.
On January 10, Sobyanin said that about 40 new metro stations will be built in Moscow by 2030. It was clarified that eight of them opened to passengers in 2024: the Troitskaya line appeared on the map of the Moscow subway, and another station appeared on the Sokolnicheskaya branch. In addition, the construction of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line will continue, with the first stations scheduled to open in 2026. Specialists are also engaged in the design of the future Biryulevskaya branch — it should have 10 stations.
