The media reported on the development of the EU plan to protect the skies of Ukraine

The European Union (EU) has developed a plan to protect the skies of Ukraine. This was reported by The Guardian on March 7.
According to the plan drawn up by military experts, the European air force consisting of 120 fighter jets can be deployed to protect the skies over Ukraine.
According to the idea of the Sky Shield program, this will be a European-led air protection zone operating separately from NATO, which will protect cities and infrastructure potentially functioning within the framework of a "truce in the sky."
On March 3, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced his unwillingness to put the issue of sending troops to Ukraine to a vote. Prior to that, on February 28, Izvestia reported that the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) could send an armed peacekeeping contingent similar to the UN contingents to Ukraine.
