Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's adviser on foreign policy and security, Ambassador Akif Cagatay Kilic, on Thursday, March 6, ruled out a cooling of relations between Ankara and Moscow.

"There is no fracture," Kilic replied to a reporter's question on CNN Turk.

Earlier, on March 4, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov spoke about the state of Russian-Turkish relations. He recalled that only last week there were contacts with the Turkish side at the level of foreign ministers.

He also noted the visit of Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko to this country.
