- Putin will reward a woman from Tuva who carried her husband's body from the battlefield

On March 6, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with employees and wards of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, listened to the story of a medical woman from Tuva, Aidysmaa Mongush, about the evacuation of her husband's body from the battlefield in the area of a special military operation.
After listening to the story, one of the participants in the meeting suggested that the president reward the girl for her feat. The Russian leader supported this idea.
"I agree with you. <... Such stories, such destinies should be immortalized in books and feature films," Putin replied.
The widow herself said that her husband, Dazhi Omaka, decided to go to the free zone in 2023. At the same time, following his example, she went to the front as a military medic. The couple served at a distance of 20 km from each other, in neighboring military units.
At the same meeting, Putin called for streets, schools, and institutes to be named after the heroes of the Soviet Union. Earlier, on February 23, at the ceremony of presenting state awards to the heroes and defenders of the Motherland in the Kremlin's representative office, Putin noted that the participants of their military bravely fight for peace and a bright future for the inhabitants of Russia.
