About 2 thousand engineering structures will be washed in Moscow after the winter. This was announced on Thursday, March 6, by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, Peter Biryukov.
By the end of April, specialists from the urban economy complex will put monuments, fountains, bridges, tunnels, underground and aboveground pedestrian crossings, embankments, and piers in order, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
So, they will clean and wash the structural elements, concrete, metal and glass surfaces, railings, stairwells. If necessary, it is planned to carry out local painting.
Utilities, in particular, will wash out road signs, house signs, information boards, pedestrian and barrier fences, noise screens, and security buffers.
About 2 thousand workers and over 250 pieces of equipment will be involved in these events, Moscow 24 clarifies.
In mid-February, the municipal fleet engaged in cleaning the Moskva River and Yauza began to prepare for the opening of navigation in Moscow. The municipal fleet includes 30 vessels, including tugboats, speedboats, and floating cranes.
