Fico opposed Slovakia's presence under the "nuclear umbrella" of France

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has spoken out against his republic being under the "nuclear umbrella" of France. This was announced on March 6 by the Aktuality portal.
"I don't want Slovakia to become part of France's nuclear umbrella," Fico said, refusing to attend a meeting of the general staff in Paris.
At the same time, the Slovak opposition criticized the Prime Minister for refusing to go to the talks.
Earlier in the day, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda announced that a representative from Paris would arrive in Vilnius to coordinate the details of France's nuclear shield. Nauseda called the details of the agreement and the work of the French system significant.
