European diplomats called Orban a "Trojan horse" of Russia and the United States

The diplomats participating in the European Union (EU) summit consider Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban a "Trojan horse" and are forced to closely monitor their speech in his presence. This was announced on March 6 by the Euractiv news website.
"They (the diplomats. — Ed.) are in the room with Orban — just keep that in mind. EU leaders will be careful what details they go into, bearing in mind that it can feed both [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and [US Leader Donald] Trump. Trump," said one of the participants in the meeting.
A special session on Ukraine was also scheduled during the summit. According to the organizers, it was decided to hold it in the "1+0" format, which is typical for discussing security-related topics.
"We've always had this Trojan horse problem, for many years now," one of the diplomats commented on Orban.
Among other decisions on this day, the EU summit decided on the autonomy of financing military programs. In addition, EU leaders instructed the European Commission to propose additional sources of defense financing at the bloc level.
