Avangard Hockey Club has extended the contract with striker Okulov for three years.

Three-time Gagarin Cup winner Konstantin Okulov has extended his contract with Avangard for three years. This was announced on March 6 in the Telegram channel of the Omsk club of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The forward joined the team during the season and scored 23 (8+15) points in 24 matches with a score of "+15".
According to German Chistyakov, General Director of HC Avangard, everyone was pleased to see how Okulov professionally approached the case and took on a large amount of work.
"His statistics in our team speak for themselves, but in addition to statistics, there is also a human attitude, behavior in the team, and a willingness to give everything for the sake of victory. Okulov has all this at the highest level," Chistyakov added.
On March 2, Avangard beat Spartak Moscow 5-1 in a KHL match. Reed Boucher, Mikhail Gulyaev, Alexey Solovyov, Konstantin Okulov and Alex Grant scored goals for Omsk. Sergei Lukyantsev scored an abandoned goal for the red-whites. This victory was the eighth in a row for the Omsk team.
