Sobyanin told Putin about the work of the Unified Support Center for its participants

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Deputy Defense Minister Anna Tsivileva told Russian President Vladimir Putin about the work of the Unified Support Center for participants in a special military operation and their family members. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the mayor of the capital.

"On the eve of March 8, we met with women participants and veterans of a special military operation, as well as wives and mothers of SVO fighters and employees of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation," Sobyanin wrote.

It is noted that the head of state visited the Unified Center, which is located in the Coastal Passage. The organization has been operating for several years. Comprehensive targeted assistance is provided here.

According to Sobyanin, one of the areas of the center's work is the development of support technologies "with the subsequent implementation of methods and practices in the urban assistance infrastructure." Psychologists, lawyers, specialists in rehabilitation, adaptation and socialization, and career consultants work there. The center also employs "veterans of a special military operation who have completed their service," the mayor added. According to him, it helps to create a trusting environment. "With the support of comrades-in-arms who have already gone through the path of recovery, the return to civilian life is faster," stressed the mayor of Moscow.

Since family support is very important during rehabilitation, the center regularly hosts various family events, there is a playroom and a mother and child room. There is also a women's club, an association of wives, mothers, sisters and adult children of ITS members.

"Today, our women not only create a reliable rear at home, but also are on the front line. I never tire of admiring their ability to combine seemingly incompatible things," Sobyanin stressed.

The unified center also performs the function of the Moscow branch of the state Fund for support of participants of the Defenders of the Fatherland NGO.
