Russia is not going to concede to anyone in the situation in Ukraine. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, March 6.

At a meeting with the staff and wards of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, the head of state was asked to go to the end.

"We must choose for ourselves a version of the world that suits us," Putin said.

The President stressed that peace is necessary for the country, which will ensure peace for a long historical perspective. In addition, the Russian leader added that Russia does not need someone else's, but Russia is not going to give up its own.

"And we need such an option, exactly one that would ensure the stable development of our country in conditions of peace and security," Putin said.

Also, during the meeting with the staff and wards of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, the President pointed out that Russia's unity is one of the main conditions for success on the battlefield.
