- The White House denied reports that Ukrainians had been deprived of their temporary legal status.

Reports that the United States will revoke the temporary legal status of about 240,000 Ukrainians living in the country are not true. This was announced on March 6 by the official representative of the White House, Caroline Levitt, on the social network X (ex. Twitter)
"This is another fake news story from Reuters, based on anonymous sources who have no idea what they're talking about," Levitt wrote.
She added that at the moment no decisions have been made on this issue.
On March 6, the Reuters news agency, citing American officials, said that the White House plans to deprive about 240,000 Ukrainian refugees in the United States of temporary legal status. This may lead to accelerated deportation of Ukrainian migrants deprived of their status, the publication added.
