The number of entrepreneurs who received support also reached a historic high: almost 74,000 businessmen took advantage of guarantees and guarantees from NHS participants. This is 71% more than a year earlier.

In 2024, special attention was paid to companies engaged in scientific and technical activities and IT developments. The volume of support for such organizations doubled and amounted to 81.5 billion rubles, and in the field of information technology the increase reached 12%.

"These companies are at the forefront and form the scientific and production potential of the country, which is especially important for the implementation of import substitution programs and ensuring technological sovereignty," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.

Among the industries, the leaders in terms of funds raised were manufacturing (252.9 billion rubles), construction (236.7 billion rubles), scientific and technical activities (81.5 billion rubles), transport and storage (67.4 billion rubles), agriculture (50.3 billion rubles), hotel business and catering (29.7 billion rubles), as well as the IT sector (24.7 billion rubles).

Support for small and medium-sized businesses is provided within the framework of a federal project included in the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

At the end of December last year, it was reported that the number of established SMEs in Russia exceeded 1 million, of which 814 thousand were created in the form of individual entrepreneurship. This was stated in an analytical note by the autonomous non-profit organization National Priorities.
