UAZ cars began to be assembled in Cuba

The first test copy of the UAZ car was assembled at the Cuban plant of the EISA company, it became the Patriot model. This was reported to Izvestia by a source at the enterprise.

He specified that the full-fledged launch of the new enterprise, located in Havana, will be carried out "in the very near future."

According to the insider, the assembly line has already been completed, and the final configuration of the equipment is underway. The UAZ Patriot SUV (pictured) is designed exclusively for testing production technology and monitoring the functionality of all systems.

The picture of this car was taken at the final site of the Cuban production site, where the braking mechanisms are checked and the camber adjustment is carried out at the appropriate stands.

Along with the Patriots, production of UAZ Pickup trucks is also planned in Cuba.

On December 12 last year, it became known that the first batch of UAZ Patriot SUVs had arrived in Cuba. These cars were intended for the administrations of the local provinces.
