- The military expert pointed out the problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to the US refusal to transfer intelligence

The refusal of the United States to provide Ukraine with intelligence data made it impossible for Kiev to launch attacks deep into the Russian Federation with high-tech weapons. This opinion was shared with Izvestia on March 6 by Andrey Koshkin, head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, a military expert.
"Of course, the lack of intelligence makes it impossible for high-tech weapons systems to strike deep into Russian territory. [However] these are "educational measures" for [the Ukrainian president] Vladimir Zelensky. If they are effective, it is possible that [the American leader] Donald Trump will cancel them," he said.
At the same time, according to the source, how long restrictions on the dissemination of intelligence will be imposed depends on Ukraine's reaction. If Washington realizes that the goals of such pressure have already been achieved, then the transfer of information to Kiev can be restored. If Trump considers it necessary to maintain the ban, representatives of the Democratic Party may put pressure on him, accusing him of complicity with Russia.
"I am more than sure that this direction of counteraction to Trump is developing right now. And it is no coincidence that Trump has stated that he is the US president who has harmed Russia the most. <...> Therefore, such a moratorium on Trump's part cannot last long. Nevertheless, in the current situation, such measures have impressed the whole world. <...> Under the previous team led by Joe Biden, no one could even think about it," concluded Koshkin.
Also on Thursday, the Daily Mail newspaper reported that British-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles had lost their effectiveness for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) without American intelligence.According to the publication, Washington's decision to ban the transfer of intelligence data can have serious consequences, since information provided by the United States is necessary for the accurate guidance of Storm Shadow.
At the same time, earlier in the day, Dmitry Stefanovich, a military expert at the Russian Council on International Affairs (INF), said that the European Union (EU) would probably continue to secretly share American intelligence data with Ukraine, despite a corresponding ban from the United States.
