Kiev is working to find alternative sources of intelligence information after the United States decided to restrict their transfer to Ukraine. This was announced on March 6 by the country's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

"As for exploration, we do not yet know exactly how it will be limited, but we are already working on alternative options," he said.

He added that, if necessary, Ukraine would request intelligence, including from Germany.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on March 6 that Moscow had not received any signals from Paris regarding the contacts. He commented on the statement by French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecorny that the country continues to assist in providing intelligence to Ukraine and how this decision will affect the current situation amid attempts to find ways to resolve the conflict peacefully.

On March 5, Fox News journalist Jackie Heinrick reported that John Ratcliffe, director of the Central Intelligence Agency, confirmed Washington's decision to suspend cooperation with Kiev on intelligence transfer for some time.
