The most trouble-free cars aged up to 10 years are named

The experts of the Autoteca online car history check service named the brands and models under the age of 10 that are least likely to have accidents. They told Izvestia about this on March 6.

According to Avtoteka, cars without mentioning accidents in the data are most often found among Honda models: their share was 59.6%. The Jeep brand came in second place with 59.2%, and Haval took the third line of the rating with 57.4%. Chevrolet (56.2%) and Chery (53.7%) also entered the top 5.

Among the accident-free models, Kia Carnival minivans (79.7%) and Hyundai Grand Starex with 65.9% became the leaders. Lada 4x4/Niva took the third place with 65.4%, and Chevrolet Niva was on the fourth line with 64.4%. Lada Xray Cross rounded out the top five with 63.6%.

Renault Megane, Haval H6, Geely Atlas, Lada Vesta Cross and Hyundai Santa Fe were also among the ten models that were least likely to be involved in accidents.

Earlier that day, it became known that 36 accidents involving unmanned vehicles occurred in Russia during an experiment on the use of unmanned vehicles. Of this number, 26 accidents occurred when self-driving cars were driving in automated mode (the driver intervened in the process only if necessary). The remaining 10 incidents occurred when the tester was driving the car in manual mode.
