The court transferred Yanina, the wife of former Sochi mayor Alexei Kopaigorodsky, from house arrest to a pre-trial detention center. This was announced on March 6 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

The investigation requested that she be sent to jail in connection with exerting pressure on a witness in a criminal case. The arrest period is set until May 17.
