Turkey is ready to discuss a mission to send peacekeepers to Ukraine, if it helps to achieve peace. This was reported on March 6 by the newspaper Milliyet, referring to a source in the country's defense ministry.

"The issue of mission assistance, which has been raised in various media outlets but has not yet been put into a conceptual framework, will be jointly assessed by all interested parties if it is deemed necessary to establish regional stability and peace," the source said.

According to him, Turkey believes that lasting peace can be achieved "through equal and fair representation of both sides." He added that Ankara will support all initiatives aimed at ensuring peace in the Black Sea.

Earlier, on February 23, The Wall Street Journal reported that the United Kingdom and France href="https://iz.ru/1843653/2025-02-23/smi-soobshchili-o-poiske-stranami-es-podderzhki-trampa-v-otpravke-voisk-na-ukrainu " rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">a plan is being developed to deploy up to 30,000 European peacekeepers in Ukraine. It is noted that the forces of the unification states lack the potential that the military has USA.
