The White House plans to deprive Ukrainian refugees of USA temporary legal status. This was reported on March 6 by the agency Reuters with reference to American officials.

"The Administration of the President of the United States Donald Trump plans to revoke the temporary legal status of about 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the conflict," the newspaper writes.

It is noted that this may lead to accelerated deportation of Ukrainian migrants deprived of their status. In addition, the measure is likely to be adopted as early as April this year, Reuters emphasized.

The day before, the newspaper Welt reported that a new one is expected in Germany href="https://iz.ru/1849414/2025-03-05/v-frg-predrekli-ocherednoi-potok-bezhentcev-s-ukrainy-iz-za-politiki-trampa " target="_blank">massive refugee flow with Ukraine in connection with the decision of the Trump administration to stop military assistance to Kiev. Experts assume that the majority of Ukrainian refugees will come to the north of Germany, as they did three years ago, since the Ukrainian diaspora has already formed there.
