A new metro station "Kopylova Street" will be built in Krasnoyarsk.


Construction of a dismantling chamber at the Kopylova Street subway station will begin in Krasnoyarsk in the near future. The work will be carried out by the Mosproekt-3 group of companies.
According to Konstantin Matveev, CEO of Mosproekt-3, who cites KrasnoyarskMedia News agency, a new project for the excavation of a dismantling chamber for tunnel shields was developed taking into account the decision to include the tunnel from Vysotnaya Street to Kopylova Street, built in 2005-2008, into the metro.
The excavation will be the deepest. It is planned to build the Kopylova Street station from the mine in an underground way. Archaeologists are currently working at the site.
Matveev noted that 110 m of electric cable and about 1.3 km of urban communication networks are to be laid. Next, the construction of the excavation pit of the dismantling chamber will begin.
At the first stage, the length of the subway line will be 11 km. There will be stations "Vysotnaya", "Kopylova Street", "Vokzalnaya", "Revolution Square", "Karl Marx Street" and "Shakhterov Street".
In January 2024, it was reported that the beginning of metro construction in the center of Krasnoyarsk. The first branch of the Krasnoyarsk subway should be operational by 2026. The President of the Russian Federation ordered the launch of the subway in the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Vladimir Putin.
