President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has supported Russia's proposal to build a factory for the production of drones in the country. This was reported on March 6 by the agency BelTA.

"We are ready to build a factory," Lukashenko said during a visit to the exhibition of Russian unmanned aircraft systems.

It is specified that the proposal of the Russian Federation is to create a plant in Belarus for the production of unmanned systems with a capacity of up to 100 thousand units. The article states that we are talking about using a common technology platform, which will ensure economic efficiency and the development of new models.

It is noted that Lukashenko also proposed to create a group of specialists in his country and send them to Russia for advanced training.

Military expert Dmitry Kornev told Izvestia on March 5 that the developers of the Piranha-10 FPV drone, which destroyed the first Western Abrams tank in the special operation zone, created a new reconnaissance UAV — "Owl-13". It was noted that it would allow Russian military personnel to conduct reconnaissance for over an hour and a half with high-quality video, the ability to hover and hold positions.
