- The Kremlin agreed with Rubio's call to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible

Russia agrees with the statement of the Secretary of State USA Marco Rubio on the fact that the conflict on Ukraine is a proxy war between Moscow and Washington. This was announced on March 6 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"We agree with that. This is true, and it has been repeatedly discussed. And we said that this is a conflict between Russia and the collective West. <...Let's just say that the main country of the collective West is the United States," he said at a briefing.
The Russian president's press secretary also agreed with Rubio that it was time to stop the conflict.
In an interview with Fox News on March 5, Rubio called the Ukrainian conflict a proxy war between the nuclear powers — the United States, which is helping Ukraine, and Russia. The American Secretary of State also added that the plan of Kiev and its allies is to "give as much as it takes."
