The Southern District Military Court sentenced Dmitry Levin, a resident of Novorossiysk, to 15 years in prison for transmitting data about the Russian Navy to special services Of Ukraine. This was announced on March 6 by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, in the period from January to March 2024, the man joined a terrorist organization, collected information about the ships of the Russian Navy in the waters of the Tsemesskaya Bay of Novorossiysk and the location of a military unit, and then passed the data to representatives of the special services of Ukraine.
It is noted that the man was found guilty under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason"), under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code ("Participation in the activities of an organization that is recognized as terrorist in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation").
