- The Avatar drone for reconnaissance to a depth of 40 km was developed for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

It is noted that the new drone is equipped with three cameras, and its wingspan is 1.8 m. This way, Avatar can stably keep radio and video communications at a distance of up to 40 km.
The drone was developed by aviation students with the support of the Kulibin Club of the Popular Front.
According to the creators, with the help of their knowledge, they decided to help the military of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) who are on the front line.
"When the special operation began, many of my friends and family went to the front. I've been thinking for a long time about how I can help the front. <...I decided that I could put my knowledge and skills into making an unmanned aerial vehicle that could save the lives of the guys at the front. This is how I can help my country," said Daniil, an engineer at the Avatar team.
Military expert Dmitry Kornev told Izvestia on March 5 that the developers of the Piranha-10 FPV drone, which destroyed the first Abrams tank in the special operation zone, created a new reconnaissance UAV — "Owl-13". It was noted that it would allow Russian military personnel to conduct reconnaissance for over an hour and a half with high-quality video, the ability to hover and hold positions.
