The Zavodsky District Court of Kemerovo sentenced Roman Plet, a state fire inspector, to four years in a penal colony in the case of a fire in an illegal shelter where 23 people died in 2022. This was announced on March 6 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

Plet is accused of negligence that negligently caused the death of more than two people. He did not admit his guilt.
