Sobyanin announced the growth of high-tech industries in Moscow

In Moscow, the turnover of high-tech industries doubled in 2024. This is one of the fastest growing sectors of the metropolitan industry, saidin his official Telegram channel, the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin.

The main contribution was made by the production of computers and peripheral equipment, instrumentation, navigation devices and apparatuses, watches, electronic equipment and printed circuits, as well as communication equipment.

The output of computers, optics and electronics in Moscow increased by more than 2.1 times in 2024.

Small enterprises have also become the drivers of the industry's development. Their turnover increased 2.6 times, and their share in the sector increased to 34.7%.

This is the result, among other things, of the active support of the city and attracting investments in the development of enterprises. Last year alone, 30 new high-tech enterprises were opened in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
